Our speakers

Nicki brings over two decades of enriching experience in international education, where she's worn many hats – from teaching to leadership – across schools with diverse curricula. With a Bachelor of Education, National Professional Qualification of Headship (NPQH), and an MA in Educational Leadership, Nicki's educational journey is a testament to her dedication to learning and growth.
Her career narrative is one of organic progression, starting as a teaching assistant and now overseeing 13 schools in Abu Dhabi with the Taaleem School Group. Before her current role, Nicki served as an Executive Principal, overseeing the establishment of three new British schools in Abu Dhabi. She's been instrumental in the launch of eight new schools, a journey that speaks volumes about her leadership and vision.
Nicki's story isn't just about climbing the career ladder; it's about seizing opportunities, embracing challenges, and making a tangible impact in the lives of students and educators alike.

Deputy Head Teacher New Cairo British International School
Philip has a proven track record as an educational leader in both the UK and international markets with experience of both established secondary and founding all-through boarding schools. As part of SLT, Philip has led schools through COBIS, CIS, BSO, HPL and FOBISIA inspections and accreditations. Philip is a COBIS Peer Accreditor and instructional coach.
As a fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching, Philip value's researched, evidenced based approaches to pedagogy. Positive, dynamic and progressive by nature, he hold's integrity as the key aspect of leadership.
From August 2024 Phillip will be Vice Principal / Head of Secondary at Arcadia Global School Dubai.

Director of Education at Taaleem
Glen has been in Executive Leadership positions for 20+ years in New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, and the UAE. His early commitment to excellence was demonstrated as the Headmaster of Pinehurst School in New Zealand where he spent 10 years. The school received recognition as Cambridge University International Examinations’ ‘Top School Award’ for the last nine consecutive years of his tenure.
He is very familiar with both the International Baccalaureate (IB) and Cambridge University International Examinations. He was the former Chairman of the IB Heads Association and Chairman of the Cambridge University International Examinations. In recognition, he was a recipient of a bursary from Cambridge University for his commitment to leadership and curriculum development.
Glen has also been an advisor to Ministries of Education in five countries and most recently he has been a Head of School/CEO in Dubai, where his school was a finalist in IB school of the year and was selected as one of the top ten schools in Dubai.

Matt believes that people are capable of far bigger leadership and lives than they ever dare let themselves believe. In his provocative, playful yet humble approach he brings great trust and energy to MSB. His life as a senior leader in secondary schools in the UK and overseas gave him a deep understanding of what makes engaging learning and leadership.
As a CTI-trained coach Matt has an incredible ability to really understand others and move them forward to what they want.
As founding director of Making Stuff Better, Matt leads the growth of their coach training and leadership development portfolio.
